AN ECLECTIC ARTIST
All my life I have been exploring the world through various mediums of paint and drawing tools. I love animals and plants and that love and curiosity about nature has carried me into adulthood where I am continuously amazed by the little interesting things around me; a bird, a seed, dried honeycomb, a bee buzzing. All these themes are found in my work, biology - the study of life. I believe that is what I am doing with my art. Studying life.
I have a curious mind. I enjoy seeking new perspectives and ways to view things. I enjoy breaking things down into parts - into their basic make-up of lines, shapes, textures and marks. I love seeing things in something they are not. Making a connection between the abstracted and the real.
